Day 4: Road Safety & Vehicle Standards – DVSA requirements, defect reporting, walkaround checks. Day 5: Employment Law & Driver Management – contracts, working conditions, training obligations. Week 2: Business, Law & Exam Preparation Day 6: Financial Management – budgeting, financial standing, profit/loss, operator requirements. Day 7: Transport Law & Contracts – contracts of carriage, insurance, health & safety law. Day 8: Case Studies – applying theory to real-world scenarios. Day 9: Mock Exam Practice – past paper questions, timed practice, and feedback. Day 10: Final Exam Preparation & Q&A – revision sessions and confidence-building. Exam Information Exam Body All exams are conducted by the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT). Assessment Format The Transport Manager CPC exam has two parts: Multiple Choice Paper – 60 questions testing your knowledge across the syllabus. Case Study Paper – scenario-based questions requiring written answers and applied understanding. Both parts must be passed to achieve the qualification.
