ADR Training Courses Our ADR training courses are accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) for the ADR certificate and approved by JAUPT (Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training) for Driver CPC hours. ADR courses vary in length depending on the type of dangerous goods being transported. Most drivers choose either: 3.5-day course – Core, Packages and 7 Classes 5-day course – Core, Packages, 7 Classes and Tanks module Training is delivered online via live remote sessions, allowing candidates to complete the classroom elements from home or the workplace. Candidates only need to attend the training venue on the Friday to complete their examinations. Although there are nine classes of dangerous goods, most ADR courses cover the seven classes most commonly transported by drivers. The specialist categories Explosives (Class 1) and Radioactive Materials (Class 7) are delivered as separate specialist courses due to their specific regulatory requirements. For companies with suitable facilities, on-site ADR training can also be arranged, allowing your drivers to complete the course at your premises.
